High-performance mobile devices often operateat a high energy cost, and, therefore, have limited battery lives.Power profiling is the first step towards increasing energyefficiency. Data Compiler collects and displays FPS, temperature,CPU frequency, and CPU utilization data. Through analyzing suchdata, researchers can identify sources of energy inefficiency andgain insights into the potential power/performance tradeoffs.Theapplication was originally designed to support testing on theInforce 6410 Single Board Computer (homogeneous CPU architecture)and the Odroid-XU3 device (heterogeneous CPU architecture), butoperates on other android mobile devices. The ultimate goal is toencourage more inclusive power management that will prompt thehardware to consume less energy.
